In this first episode, we’re going to start with the basics of creating a new catalog in Lightroom.
The first thing you’ll need to do is download Lightroom if you haven’t yet. Adobe has a couple of different versions of Lightroom. For these tutorials, we use Adobe Lightroom classic.

Importing - Left Panel Overview
In this episode, we pick up where we left off and will go over how to start an import, and then how to select the images you’d like to import.
Picking up where we left off last time, we have Lightroom open, and you can see that Adobe has a message for you right in the middle where it says to click the import button to begin.

Importing - Middle Panel Overview
In this episode, we’re going to cover all of the options in the middle panel of the Import window.
If you follow the arrows at the top, it will walk you through the process. Next you’ll decide what to do with the images, and which images we want to import.

Importing - Right Panel - File Renaming & Destination
In this episode, we’ll dive into some of the options that appear in the right panel.
You’ll click into the ‘to’ area at the top and choose your destination folder. This is where you want to move or copy your files to.

In this episode, we’re going to look at the right-hand panel, and start with the File Handling options.
